  1. Withdraw slowly instead of just stopping. It's better to ease yourself off coffee.  So if you've got a headache, a small dose of coffee will relieve some of that. I'd suggest to keep drinking a little bit as headaches arise, it will take maybe a week or two or more depending on how much coffee you drink. Going slower with the withdrawal will work to your benefit, your system will adjust better to the slow transition.
