How can I tighten a loose ring?
My rings have become loose and the jangling drives me crazy. I don't want my rings to get scratched - or worse, lost! - before I get to the jeweler. Is there a quick fix to hold me over until I get the ring resized?

shrug We used to wrap yarn around them on the palm side- it worked after a fashion. Using that same idea, you can get ring adjusters- like these at Walmart https://www.walmart.com/ip/Easy-Ring-Adjusters-3-sizes/137797845?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=12421&&adid=22222222227142848455&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=253409954113&wl4=pla-418274732575&wl5=9030197&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=117437176&wl11=online&wl12=137797845&veh=sem
They will tighten the ring onto the finger.
You do know there's no way for a jeweler to make a ring smaller without cutting the band, right? You may want to consider using the adjusters, instead.
A simple fast and easy way to fix a loose ring is to add a piece of tape to the back side of the ring. You can use a bandaid, electrical tape, masking tape, and either wrap around the ring back side a few times, or roll the tape small, with the sticky side on the outside, and stick it in the back of the ring. A bandaid is a good option , you'd have to test and see how thick a piece you need - the bandaid has padding which would be helpful.
You could also take one of the flexible ties from plastic bags, and wrap it around the back of the ring.
