During the Fall and Winter cooler months, it makes it a bit difficult to create healthy snacks when a lot of your favorite fruits are out of season. It's beyond tempting to just reach for a bag of chips, or a king size bag of candy, but to live a healthy lifestyle we unfortunately have to put those cravings aside.  When the weather is cooler, it makes for a person to become bored, tired, and craving comfort foods. Reach for superfoods, those that are more filling, high in protien, and packed with energy, to give us an energy boost during the mid day slump. When the temps fall, hunger rises during these seasons, especially as more people stay in, it begins to get dark out earlier, many people begin to feel lonely and hungry out of boredom when all they do is go to work and go home.  You need to find foods that will keep you feeling full longer throughout the day, during mid morning and mid afternoon, so you don't go home and raid the pantry as many of us do.  Having premade options already available will help get you to grab healthier snacks rather than stopping at a vending machine on your lunch break.
