What is the most nutritious protein source alternative to meat?
I am vegetarian, so I eat a lot of beans, lentils, tofu, etc. What is the most nutritious option? I just eat these because I like them, but I'd like to know what the best option is for my health.

All of them! Different types of plants all have different nutrients that help your body run and stay healthy. Eating a varied diet that includes many whole grains, legumes, fruits, and vegetables ensures that you get everything your body needs. For instance, there are actually hundreds of types of fiber that make up the broad categories of soluble or insoluble fiber. Is the fiber in pinto beans somehow "better" than in black beans or kidney beans? More likely it would be better to eat some of all three. If you are curious what each food brings to the table, I would recommend nutritionfacts.org.

Seems watercress is topping the list, but it isnt very rich of proteins.
