Why do I begin sneezing when I stare at my laptop screen for too long?

I am a software developer and I have to look at the computer screen all day for work. I often work 12 hour days and at some point my eyes feel so itchy that it causes me to sneeze. That's when I stop working because I don't want to cause that level of strain.How is the itching of my eyes causing me to sneeze?
