Have you rediscovered any hobbies or talents due to Covid?

I have basically been in since March and I have seen very few people, aside from my roommate. Although I am a natural introvert, I have missed seeing my other friends and family.

One thing I have rediscovered is hand-writing letters and cards! I wrote tons of letters as a kid and had a number of pen pals over the years. I have taken to sending cards or dropping a note in the mail. It feels very different than communicating by phone or text, and I hope it brightens the recipient's day. Have you rediscovered anything you used to do since Covid?

What a wonderful idea! I'm sure those brighten up the recipients' lives. I know my elderly relatives don't get much mail except for junk mail, so we're sending them cards more often, for holidays we might not have previously.

I did what we all said we'd do - write the book we've been working on. ^_^ It is coming out next summer. I've been writing essays and opinion pieces for 20 years and gathering them all up, putting them in order, editing the bejeebus out of them and writing new stuff has taken me a couple more years.

I also started to do Youtube videos in earnest on the same topic I write about. This year the goal is one video every 2 months. I'm 6 videos into the process. Season two is a little slicker than Season One, but I still have a lot to do to get where I want to be. I learned how to audio edit, (blecch) and video edit (bleecchhhhhhh) and upgraded my equipment a bit. Youtube is a great equalizer. No one cares how not-perfect you are....and if they do, you can block them. ^_^
