What are some good ways to keep in touch with parents during this crazy Covid-19 pandemic?

I have not seen my parents since March and they live 20 minutes away from me. We just don’t want them to contract anything from us, if we happen to have it and are asymptomatic. Basically, creating a zero-risk scenario. We have Facetimed them and talked on the phone, but I miss them.

What are some ways to connect with family in a safe manner without putting them at risk for catching coronavirus?

  1. Try going back to snail mail. Create a letter to mail each week as a special "gift". Instead of focusing on HOW your doing, write about WHAT your doing. Even if it as simple as putting together a puzzle with the family. Describe the event in details. What your doing for your parents is creating memories even when they cannot be when you right now. If you have little ones, have them include a drawing. Older children can decorate the envelope. Guaranteed this will make your mom and dad smile. 😊
