Does squirting lime over my tacos kill the remaining bacteria in any uncooked meat?
This might be an old fashioned wives-tale, but I have heard that squirting lime into tacos with meat or pork can reduce the likelihood of foodbourne illness because the acid in the lime can kill ramining bacteria. I just want to know if anyone else has heard of this and if it is even true.
