If I want to go hiking and not see a lot of people, is it better to stick to more "strenuous" trails?

We're in the middle of a pandemic, so obviously avoiding people is very important. The good news is that I love hiking which is an activity which can be perfectly suited to the solitary lifestyle. However, so many more people are hiking than before. Guess they had the same idea as me! But I'm curious for those who are more experienced hikers out there: will I be able to avoid more people if I hike on harder trails or on easier trails? I just want to be safer! Thank you
