Before covid, cruises were a standard vacation option. Thinking back, it's kind of amazing how unsanitary they were, even at the best of times. Yes, there were hand sanitizer stations everywhere and hardworking housekeepers, but the sheer number of passengers in a small space, buffet-style dining, island-hopping, lack of health screenings, and crowded theaters are all shocking to post-covid me. After living through a pandemic, my hygiene standards are much higher, to say the least! Will cruises meet the new minimum?
