How can I keep french press coffee warm?

I love using my French Press, the only issue is it never stays warm. I normally make enough for like 1 1/2 cups, but by the time I finish my first cup the rest is cold. It feels like a huge waste. 

 

Any ideas?

    I use a metal french press rather than the glass ones. The coffee tends to stay warmer in the stainless steel ones.
