What are some of the best advent calendars to buy for yourself?
There's an advent calendar out there for every taste! I like them as a mid-winter daily pick me up, not as a religious symbol, so I'm always on the hunt for a new and exciting advent calendar with great daily gifts. A lot of them are wildly expensive, and some have less than exciting treats inside. What are your favorite calendars?

There was a liqueur-filled chocolate bottles one from Germany at the Commissary last year- it, too was prohibitively expensive.
Etsy has some beautiful handmade ones.
