How to get more followers on Twitch?

I've been trying to stream games more in my spare time. I've like to get a decent following going if I can but I don't know how to get people into my stream. What's a good way to get people to find me?

    Gaining followers on Twitch is no different than any other social media platform. The more effort you put into creating consistent and high-quality content, the more likely people will find it helpful and follow you.

     

    Start with the following:

     

    1. Start out by setting a weekly goal for how many followers you'd like to get. Be reasonable here early on. 3-5 is a good target.
    2. Understand the nitch you're going after and look at how other similar Twitch users approach the same audiences. What can you learn?
    3. Brainstorm a few ideas about why you're unique. What do you specifically bring to the table? Are you funny, insightful, attractive, very experienced in the field, do you already have a brand you can bring with you?
    4. Get one video up, then another, consistently posting. The more regular, the better.
    5. Retention is absolutely key. Watch how many users unfollow you each week and continue to learn.
    6. Watch comments from your audience and engage constantly. The more people feel like they are a part of the conversation, the more they will stick around. New followers are attracted right here!
