Theatre in the Pandemic

Live theatre has been put on a very unfortunate halt since the pandemic. I’ve heard people handling it in different ways -- some moved performances to zoom, some do shows with masks, some just stopped production. What is the best course of action?

There's no question that this has been the hardest 12 months for live theater in 100 years.  The only bright point has been the ability to connect to audiences online, as even with spacing and outdoor venues, in-peson performances just haven't been safe.

That has meant a lot of good online / virtual performances.  But the vast majority of people working in the theater industry remain out of work or underemployed.  The best course of action is for everyone to stay safe until enough vaccines are put in arms to make gathering in person again a viable option - and to support your local arts and artists in the meantime!
