Especially with corona virus, I’m not sure if ski hills will be opening this year. I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos about how incredible back country skiing is, but also how dangerous it can be. How can I get started on a budget? I am already pretty experienced at hiking with skins and boot packing, but I’m pretty nervous about potentially starting an avalanche.
