Why am I getting clicks on my ads but only converting a very small number of them?

I run a web development business. I have been spending money on ads every month and have gotten a few clients from it. When combining my targeted ads and my retargeting ads, I have over 200k impressions over the past couple of months and about 1.52k clicks; that;'s a CTR of 0.7 which I assume is not that great. Even so, with all of those clicks, I only converted like 5. I've got to be doing something wrong. I am sending them to my landing page https://www.gaticonsulting.com/landing/997-website-offer/

Can someone please help with some advice? Why is my landing page not converting much?

Thanks!

The most likely scenario is that you're targeting the wrong audience with your ads. So they're clicking, but hitting your landing page and realizing that they're not interested in the product.

The audience range could be too large, and so you're paying for a diluted reach to your ideal audience.

Try changing the audience and niche down further. Remember that the goal is not to reach as many people as possible, but to reach as many of your ideal customer base as possible.

Once you've niched it down, try adjusting the copy or the imagery in your ad, but don't do it all at once! You'll want to test 1 variable at a time so you can see which ones are affecting your CTR.
