Silly, sweet comedy recommendations on Netflix or Amazon Prime?
I have been watching comedies to get a break from current events. I just rewatched Schitt's Creek with Season 6, and absolutely loved it. Also enjoyed Episodes. Looking for similar shows. Do you have any recommendations along those lines? Just looking for something funny and not mean.

I know these two are older, and you may feel you have seen them all so why bother? but you could do worse than the entire Frasier series with Kelsey Grammer and the inimitable David Hyde Pierce whose reactions are priceless. For me the great thing about Frasier is I don't have to become consumed with it- it's like reading a favored book from a decade or two ago: I know enough of the background that.even if I had not seen an episode in its first run. I can follow it now without problem.
In that vein, on Netflix Seinfeld will be available in 2021. It was such a breakthrough show- a show about... nothing much, really. Just another day in the life of. Easy to dip into and out of.
I think my next daily binge will be The Good Place. I saw a few episodes and liked it, but never watched regularly. I might now.
Edited to add because I forgot: Netflix has ALL of the Monty Python series. Yup, some of the humor didn't age as well as the rest (although I suspect you just need to be high to find it hilarious again) but it is rather the grounding of so much of the humor we see today. "Bring out yer dead!"
Thank you, J, for these suggestions. I have seen Frasier to death as I had insomnia for a few years and it was the only thing on during the night. But I didn't know Seinfeld was coming to Netflix, so I will definitely give those another look. Reminds me of my 20s, LOL! Even if it is dated, it definitely was influential. I saw Monty Python was on there but in the past I never got that humor. Maybe the key is getting high, haha!
