For me the best way to do anything is to take a look at some people doing what you want to do, and see what they do and don't do.

For instance, I can see that most of the top Youtubers do videos I cannot stand to watch for even a few seconds. They are doing videos for an audience that wants something specific, something I instantly realized I don't want to do, and would bring an audience I don't want to have.

So I started honing in on people who did videos I liked and in a way I found tolerable. Then I started to piece each piece of the process together, one at a time - how to film, how to edit film, - how to do voiceover and edit that. I knew how to build images so that was easy and I identified a look I wanted to go with. I hired someonet to help me edit and they have a good sense of what I want....and I'm not picky. Good enough is good enough for YT.

Then, I started to make videos. I've learned something with each one, but I doubt they look different to anyone just watching them. ^_^

Start somewhere. Try Youtube, there are tons of videos on how to make videos. You'll need 4000 watch hours (by people who are not you) and 1000 subscribers to make any money, so get to it!
