What are some of the most effective methods to market or advertise on a digital platform?
I have been reading up on digital marketing and learning about algorithms, conversation rates, and click-thru rates. It has been very interesting. It seems you can spend a lot in marketing vying for valuable ad space and to get to the top of Google search results.
What, in your experience, is the most cost-efficient and effective method to market digitally?

The most cost-efficient way is to be where your customers are, so starting with a good understanding of your ideal customer is key. Once you have an understanding of who they are, what they like to do, what keeps them awake at night, and how they spend their time, you're able to start focusing your time and energy towards platforms they like to be on.
Don't try to be everywhere at once! With all of the different marketing platforms, it's nearly impossible to be consistent everywhere, so focus on 1-2 avenues only, then once you've nailed those (to where your customers are doing more of the work than you are promoting it) add one more.
