How do I target industry blogs to create content marketing traction for a startup?

As Sage starts to get more and more traction, we've begun exploring many options to show it to the world. Traction is a key metric to any early-stage startup. What are some thoughts from other Sages on how we can target industry blogs, publications, online journals, etc., to expand the coverage of Sage?

This could also include paying bloggers to post Sage's logo on their pages, creating the right buzz to make Sage interesting enough for them to write about, etc.
