Drawing higher Google organic search hits and raising my SEO?
I've been researching Google SEO, page ranks, organic search keywords, etc. But I'm not an expert and I feel like ramping up on my SEO skills is probably not the best use overall for my time. Does anyone have good advice for how to do SEO, grow my google page ranks, track the keywords that bring people to Sage, and invest properly across the right google, facebook, youtube, and/or twitter ad platforms?

Hi Peter, Quora partner and armchair SEO expert here.
Based on tons of experience elsewhere on the web, my friends and I have found that the best way to get external hits is by getting featured snippets on searchable keywords. The more obscure you are (at this point very obscure), the more obscure your kewyords need to be. But...here's the key. They also need to be active. They need to be recognized by google already as keywords to crawl, and they need to be recognized by humans as keywords to search. In other words, you should be concentrating on real, low-density ideas, of interest to both a small subset to humans, and to webcrawlers. Furthermore, it's incredibly helpful if those keywords happen to be trending (i.e. gaining, not losing search counts on, say, a 7-day rolling average). Easier said than done. It's partly intuition, but there's also a bunch of handy paid and free keyword research resources that you can employ to figure these things out. I recommend starting with Google Trends, looking at very narrow date/location/time/keyword parameters, and seeing what that can teach you. I wish you the very best of luck with your endeavors.
