Alcohol and ammonia, found in window cleaners such as Windex, can wreak havoc on your TV, so don't use cleaners that have them. Also, don't use any cleaners that contain an abrasive that can scratch the screen.

I use this recipe to clean my TV:

    TV Screen Cleaner  Recipe:

Microfiber cloth or old, lint-free cloth or t-shirt
    1/2 cup water
1/2 cup distilled vinegar or isopropyl alcohol
    1 clean spray bottle

    Tips for Cleaning your TV:

Never Use Tap Water for Your Cleaning Solution
Use Rubbing Alcohol and Distilled Water
Water with Distilled Vinegar as a Homemade Screen Cleaner
Don’t Use the Cleaning Spray Solution Directly on the Screen
Add Lime Essential Oil to Remove Tough Grime on Screens
Avoid Using Paper Towels to Wipe the Screen
