    You either need a rudimentary knowledge of several business sectors (see below)...or you need a strong circle of support you can count on..or pay for.

    The sectors you'll need to have a working-knowledge of sales, finance, budgeting, marketing, management skills, inventory control, pricing metrics and wrapped within leadership.  It's all tied together with common sense.  It can be a bit more complex based on what you plan on selling via retail (ie: several types of items, or a limited offering), but the basic principles remain the same, whether it's a candy story or a large grocery store.  Happy to delve in more if needed
