What are some good books for learning about black holes?
I have recently become very interested in black holes and the physics surrounding the topic and would like to be better informed.

There are myriad "dumbed-down" books on this subject; they are all wrong. If you really want to learn about the subject, go to the bibles of G.R. -- first read Taylor & Wheeler, "Spacetime Physics" and if you can digest that, go to the ultimate: Misner, Thorne & Wheeler's "Gravitation". It will blow your mind!
