My family and I have traveled North and Central America and Europe extensively. We would like to start exploring options for spending time in Africa but are overwhelmed by options. While we plan on one day visiting the pyramids at Giza, I was wanting to collect other suggestions for countries or sites to see that may not be quite as "mainstream." Where would you suggest we look into visiting? What are some must-see places on the continent? We are traveling with three minors who are used to travel and typically look for a mix of adventure and relaxation on trips.
