Congratulations! You have at last become an adult human being!
Only partly kidding- being an adult in our present stab at "society" is highly stressful- especially in the US. It isn't just CoVID and warring political ideologies taking us places we have never been before, no; it's CoVID and warring ideologies and history-making mistrust of "the Other" in any sense of the word, and creeping inflation, stagnant wages, bankruptcy-inducing costs for medical care, and -and -and-- We haven't even broached the personal stuff; your own health, love life, sleep quality, hopes and dreams, time slipping away-- Yup, there's a lot of worry- which means stress- to adulthood.
So, you have to learn a couple of things. First, is to pick your battles. Don't allow worry- stress- to add its burden unless it is worth it . If there's a problem, give it a couple minutes in your head, and if you cannot solve it, then shelve it for another time. DON'T let it take you over. Second, try very hard to learn mindfulness- being in the moment, living the now, not the yesterday or tomorrow.. Third, if you find these two tips difficult to make part of your day-to-day self, then consider either yoga (<---best) or speaking to your licensed health cae provider about an antianxiolytic (anti-anxiety).
And, from the other end of adulthood, here's a truth: Looking back, most of what you stressed over wasn't worth your time and energy. I think, though, you may have to learn that for yourself.
