I'm not much of a photographer (yet!) but I'd love to get some great shots of the Northern Lights. I'm thinking of getting a new camera and want to use it for outdoor night photography. Is it hard to take a picture of the aurora? Is it like a sunset where a bad camera will flatten out the image?
