My guinea pig is almost 6.5 years old and has a cataract in one of her eyes. Her sight is definitely getting worse, as she now has trouble locating even which direction her food is in (she used to be able to see the general direction of my hand holding food and can't now until she smells it). Is there anything I can do to comfort her or make her life easier, other than putting her food right in front of her and directing her when I can? She has one 4-year-old female cagemate, if that matters.
