Should I come here from yahoo answers?

I really liked yahoo answers. Now that yahoo answers is gone, is sage a good replacement? I used yahoo answers for asking questions that were hard to Google. It seems like this could be a good replacement for yahoo answers. What's the best way to get started on the sage board if I'm coming from yahoo answers?
