I've inherited a cuckoo clock that used to work well, but it wasn't stored well and someone who didn't know what they were doing tried to get it going again. Needless to say, it's broken. The weight chains are caught on something inside, so it doesn't keep time, but miraculously, the bellows still work. I have yet to find a skilled clock repairer who specializes in cuckoo clocks and I'm not confident enough to open it up myself. Is there anyone in or around Chicago who could do this?
