Upwork demands that I fill in my hourly rate on my profile, but as a writer, I simply don't work that way. I know my minimum price per word, but I don't have the option to list it. I don't want to list my rates too low (that attracts less-than-ideal clients) and listing it too high may turn off great potential clients.
