What is the best shared online calendar for a "busy" family?
What is the best online calendar for family sharing? Google calendar is easy for me to use, but have had prior experience where when a family member receives the "invitation" to the shared event, the time is skewed or something else is off. Is there a better option out there that is still free?

I've only used the Apple calendar and the Google calendar. The latter is platform-independent, which I prefer. The only times I've had trouble with time confusion was when I or someone else forgot about time zones. This is particularly tricky when you schedule a Zoom meeting with friends on the other side of the world or put in a transcontinental or international flight itinerary. But how could it not be?
After trying several electronic calendar options, my family has decided that Google Calendar is the best for us. It is not device or platform-specific, it is easy to use, and can be linked to all of our email accounts. My husband is a pretty strong Apple enthusiast, while I tend to head for more PC and Android options. Even he prefers Google Calendar as our calendar of choice.
+1 Google Calendar. Its not perfect - I sometimes get stuff added to it without it notifying me, but if everyone's busy and therefore checking the calendar on the regular, I think it stacks up better than anything else I've tried.
