AR is all over the place. Some uses are casual or just for fun and others are intensely promising.
Anyone can use augmented reality today. Most of us do! Kids can use AR to play Pokemon Go and Minecraft Earth, and adults can use it to see how furniture might look in their home. Anyone who has ever used a Snapchat filter has used augmented reality. Personally, I like the way Google is using it to help people read or follow directions on a map: https://arvr.google.com/ar/
But there's a lot more to it than just fun. Some educators are starting to implement AR into the classroom link and others are using it to treat psychological disorders link. It's incredibly popular in the tourism industry, architecture, training for first responders and even doctors. The possibilities are practically endless!
