What's the most efficient way to buy cooking wine?
I like to cook with white wine, but I don't care to drink it. More often than not, I'll buy a bottle and discard half of it. I hate waste, so I'd like to avoid this. At the same time, buying multiple small bottles generates a lot of garbage. Box wines are great for keeping wine fresh for a long time, but that's way more wine than I need for cooking cream sauces. What's the best option?
