How to learn networking fast?

I'm wanting to apply for a networking job here soon. I know a little bit but not as much as I need. What's the best way to learn as much as I can to prepare for the interview?

    Hi John,

There are a ton of resources out there to teach you computer networking at a basic level, and help you grow to a more advanced level. I, myself, learned networking by buying a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) book from Barnes & Noble back in 2002. I read the book, passed a $75 certification exam, and used the certification to get an 80% pay raise for a new job within a month. So it is totally doable.

Pluralsight is a great platform and has CCNA prep materials here.

Udemy is also extremely popular and does fantastic training. You can find their CCNA material on their website here.

The need for computer/internet networking skills is highly in demand, especially when coupled with a modicum of software programming skillsets. Stay at it and I promise you'll find a rewarding career. I did.

    Best,

    Peter
