  1. You'll likely always find some kind of noise pollution no matter where you go, but I'd consider prairie, and open land to be the quietest. That type of environment calls to me as well, and in multiple long road trips I always found myself stopping in places where you could see as far as the distant horizon without much in between, and it was blessedly peaceful, by comparison of course. I'm sure there are sounds there that would be noticed in time, but coming from a place of noise, it feels serene. 


    This, to me, is blessed peace, a favorite place I've visited.
