  1. Storing coffee in the freezer is not recommended because of moisture forming in the package impacting the beans. Remember that freezers go through freezing/cooling cycles where moisture can form.  But when you buy in bulk, one month is the recommended limit in the freezer.  Storing in a cool dark place is better than the freezer - like in a closed container in a storage area or garage that's not heated.  And to note, do not store in the refrigerator either, that's worse, as the coffee can absorb refrigerator odors.
