Teas are great ways to get a caffeine boost without adding extra calories or processed chemicals. The most popular would be green or black teas.

  2. Most of us need caffeine to function and many of us try to limit the amount of coffee we intake.  When you're looking to find the best caffeine alternatives to coffee and soda, there are some popular options.

Green Tea (I love the iced kind)

So it's only half the amount of caffeine that is in coffee, but it still gives you a pickup.  The added benefits of improving not only your mental health but your physical health, and metabolism.  It's even great for weightloss.

    Hot Cacao

Although low in caffeine, it still gives you a boost.  It's a central nervous system stimulate that is mild on the body, and helps stimulate while it's also rich in theobromine. Those skipping on calories, fats and sugars, this is perfect for that. Especially with it still leaving you with a dark chocolate flavor.

When you see all the awful things soda does to your body, these are good alternatives for the caffeine.
