I have three smallish boxwood shrubs that I intend to sculpt into topiaries when they're big enough. Until then, they need to be maintained in an organized shape. Is it best just to maintain a spherical shrub or should I work towards training them into their final shape? I haven't decided on the final shape of the topiaries yet.
