What are the legal guidelines for selling documents that are available to the public?

I write frequent reviews and post them on public platforms. I do this for free, but my work is gaining some traction and I've been approached to sell some of my reviews for re-publication. I suspect that since they have been published publicly, I don't have the right to get paid for this. If the purchaser wanted rights to my piece, would they purchase it from the platform and cut me out? Or, since it's public, could the purchaser just take it and re-publish for free without any involvement or permission from me or the platform?
