Standing All Day

I’ve recently gotten a new retail job where I’m on my feet and walking (or just standing around) all day. Even though I’m in comfy shoes, my feet and legs hurt by the end of my shift. Is there a way to combat this?

I was a waitress for years and standing and walking all day can be very hard on your feet, legs and back. IMO, the most important thing is to get some very good shoes with good arch support. You said your shoes are "comfy" but are they supportive? Look at what nurses and doctors wear. (Many wear Dansko or Birkenstock or running shoes.) That is what you want. They will likely be expensive, and worth every penny. Also, baths with epsom salts help sore, tired muscles too.
