A couple weeks ago, the painted lady caterpillars from my kids' butterfly kit went into thier chrysalides. Ten of them have emerged already, and nobody has managed to catch one in the act! Are they super fast, or are we just unlucky? We check the net several times a day and we have just five more chances to see a butterfly emerge.
