Sure!  My question would be, how do I manage to move into a "homesteading/permaculture" lifestyle- and all the actual work that entails- while working for a living so bills can get paid- especially the balance on the solar cells, the irrigation system and the greenhouse ventilation system. Please remember, we do not have a robust barter system for a reason:  Too many people use money, not a pound of cheese and a flitch of bacon.

I'm not being shirty, but I have read numerous sources about how a typical day in the life of a land-owner and the same land-owner's female family members, went- how much time they spent on normal chores.  And see, that is exactly the type of living homesteading/permaculture living is: Less reliance upon what we now consider to be "modern" appliances, the use of "fossil fuel" energy, more hands-on, from scratch livin'.  And that is some gey hard work. All day, every day.

Here's one essay on this same kind of living:  https://www.bennettplacehistoricsite.com/education/programs/on-the-homefront-during-the-civil-war/

So, after reading that, I would like to know how I earn enough money to take care of the bills, and still have enough time to live in harmony off the land.
