I love lentils - they're cheap, incredibly nutritious, and relatively easy to cook! With all they have going for them, I find it odd that it's not a popular ingredient in the US. I rarely see dishes with lentils at any restaurants, and I even have a hard time finding them at grocery stores sometimes. Why aren't they more popular?
